Grounds & Margins

A journal of slow mornings, strong coffee, and books read twice

Notes from
the quiet hours

I write about what a good cup and a good sentence have in common — patience, warmth, and the sense that nothing here needs to be rushed.

About this journal

Written by someone who reads slowly on purpose

Grounds & Margins started as a set of notes I kept beside my coffee pot — half brewing log, half reading journal. It's grown into a small weekly habit: one entry about something I made, read, or noticed closely enough to write down.

Most weeks it's coffee and books. Some weeks it's just the weather and what I was thinking about. There's no schedule to keep and no algorithm to please — just the quiet hour before the day gets loud.
